Came here for appetizers and tried their ceviche. It was not very busy, only one other group. Was quickly served. They have a long list of typical Mexican food. Nice ambiance with paintings inside the restaurant. It’s well located in the city center with plenty of parking.

I grew up in Texas, and I loved everything about Mexican food. I lived on ranches in the Hill Country and ate with the ranch hands. This means I saw real Tacos al Carbon before most white people had even heard of them. I ate real Cabrito al horn at the Cadillac Bar. These are a few of my bonafides to comment on the quality of the cuisine at Agave. Their menu items are authentic and delicious. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The Margaritas are really good, and I can say with confidence they serve the best guacamole in Ashland!

This creekside gem blew me away. The west coast (even the northern areas like Oregon) has a high bar when it comes to Mexican food and these guys exceeded it, and then some. I started off with their house special margarita (perfectly balanced, not overpowered with tequila and also not too sweet) and then had the fresh salsa with homemade chips (crisp, perfectly salted, not greasy whatsoever). The ceviche had a generous amount of shrimp and the complementary textures made it one of my favorites, and the tacos/beans/rice clinched the deal. The owner and management were totally on their game -- attentive without hovering, super friendly yet professional, and genuinely appreciative of each customer who chose Agave over the many other restaurants nearby. The protected patio overlooking the creek was intimate and provided great people-watching as I enjoyed one of the best meals I've had in Ashland in years. Gracias Amigos!

BEST Chicken Taquitos I will probably ever have in my life. Mind blown how good they were. All the food was so good. Loved the presentation. Good customer service too.

Food was excellent. Their chips are homemade and the quality was excellent. Prices were a little high, but quality was also high. I would recommend this place for good Mexican fare.

Fabulous Mexican fare served by attentive, friendly staff. The grilled fish tacos have a generous portion of Tilapia fish. Chips and guacamole are a must. The presentation is beautiful.

Nice little spot, enjoyed eating outside on their patio. Service was friendly & slow.. was kinda surprised at the portions. (Just expected more for the $ , didn't know Mexican restaurants had small plates ). The food was very good . Killer vegetarian beans & rice.
